Description of Volkl Supersport S5 Ti Skis W/M12 IPT BindingsAlthough it's new, the Supersport S5 borrows its inspiration from the ski that started the Supersport concept - the 5 Star. Now featuring Extended Double Grip construction, the Volkl Supersport S5 ski gives advanced and expert skiers an incredible range of all-mountain performance. Extended Double Grip is the Volkl signature construction which features dual chambers extending from tip to tail, providing strong support for the edges, and enabling the ideal distribution of pressure to the snow. Also used with Extended Grip is the Extended Wood Core. Two full-length sections follow the sides of the ski. Each is laminated to a bottom layer of titanium, forming the ski's backbone. The Volkl S5 features a narrower, 69mm waist, and slightly softer flex than the Allstar. Volkl/Marker has teamed up again to reveal the newest in ski/binding technology.
